The terms used across the A2A InstaPay documentation.

Term	Meaning
A2A	Account to account: money moves from one bank or Digital Account to another, without a card network
A2A Link SDK	The JavaScript library that opens hosted screens from a Tenant's web app
Authorized user	The person who acts for a merchant on the hosted screens, for example to confirm a refund
Collection point	A place a static QR code is displayed, such as a counter or till
Control person	The person with significant responsibility for managing a business, identified during merchant onboarding
Digital Account	A customer's account at A2A InstaPay, `consumer` or `merchant`, held in an FBO structure at the Sponsor Bank
Dynamic payment request	A QR code for one order and one amount
E-SIGN Consent	The customer's consent to receive documents electronically
FBO account	A "for benefit of" account at the Sponsor Bank holding customers' funds
Hosted screen	A screen that runs on A2A InstaPay's domain, where a customer completes a step that needs their consent or credentials
Idempotency-Key	A header that makes a request safe to retry
Linked account	The customer's own bank account, linked through Plaid
Load	Adding funds to a Digital Account from the linked bank account
Pay by bank	A payment taken straight from the payer's bank by Request for Payment
Program	A Tenant's configuration at A2A InstaPay: account structure, limits, fees, flows and branding
Regulation E	The US rule on electronic fund transfers for consumers, including error resolution and provisional credit
Request for Payment (RfP)	A message asking the payer's bank to pay, which the payer approves in their banking app
Result token	A single-use token that a Tenant's server exchanges for the outcome of a hosted screen
RTP	The Real-Time Payments network of The Clearing House, for instant, final payments between US banks
Sandbox	The test environment, where money, banks and identity checks are simulated
Session token	A single-use token that opens a hosted screen
Sponsor Bank	The bank that holds the FBO account and sponsors the program
Static payment request	A QR code that stays valid; the customer enters the amount
Tenant	A company that offers A2A InstaPay to its customers in its own app
Webhook	A signed message A2A InstaPay sends to the Tenant's server when a record changes
Workspace	In the sandbox, a separate Tenant configuration with its own credentials, data and clock
